In this research, the contamination of arsenic cadmium and chromium (VI) in surface water, sea water and sediment sample from Map Ta Phut industrial estate area was studied. The samples were collected every 2 months during June 2016 to May 2017. The studied metals were extracted by dispersive liquid liquid microextraction and determined by atomic absorption spectrometry. The results of heavy metals contamination were found as follow: The amounts of arsenic in the range of N.D.-8.24 µg/L, 0.95-2.69 µg/L, and 0.82-0.92 µg/kg, the amounts of cadmium in the range of 0.01-0.07 µg/L, 0.01-0.04 µg/L, and 0.03-0.11 µg/kg and the amounts of chromium (VI) in the range of 3.60-18.83 µg/L, 3.47-16.63 µg/L, and 9.70-16.81 µg/kg were found in surface water, sea water and sediment, respectively. In addition, the contaminations of studied metals were compared with other industrial area and agricultural area. However, the amounts of arsenic, cadmium, and chromium (VI) found in this study were lower than the standard values.
